We will discuss how an employer may see you an steps they may take in employing a provider who is undergoing treatment. We will review the different types of support requirements for providers undergoing treatment that may be required by the state medical board. Adam will share his experience about becoming an impaired provider and what it took to seek treatment along with addressing the requirements of the medical board. Dr. Cruz will talk about the support that an employer needs to give to a provider undergoing treatment to comply with the medical board’s requirements to practice medicine and get off probation. Dr. Cruz will give helpful tips on how to present yourself as a recovering provider to obtain a new position.
