Dizziness is a very common and non-specific complaint with a broad differential encompassing several dangerous etiologies. This talk will simplify the approach to dizziness to improve UC clinicians' efficiency and confidence in identifying high-risk presentations.
Learning Objectives -Become comfortable with clinically diagnosing Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) -Identify patients with high risk historical and physical exam findings suggestive of serious causes of dizziness and vertigo -Develop comfort with which testing is and is not indicated for various forms of dizziness -Increase familiarity with clinical decision rules for patients with dizziness -Develop an understanding for which specialists are best suited to follow-up on patients with various dizziness presentations after Urgent Care discharge
