She is highly committed to providing medical and humanitarian care for those impacted by natural disasters and humanitarian crises, coordinating and participating in national and international medical missions.
Dr. Gerberg is active in bringing educational programs about health and wellness to her local as well as global community and is a dynamic speaker. She is a leader in developing programs that will increase quality of patient care and safety of both staff and patients.
Dr. Gerberg is a co-creator of GoPrepare, a program that has been developed in order to integrate emergency preparedness into the urgent care and outpatient settings, and has helped bring this program to a national level. She was a speaker at the Urgent Care Association 2023 Convention, presenting the program GoPrepare: Prepare for the Unexpected.
Most recently she received a grant from the Urgent Care Foundation that enabled her and her team to receive the Autism Friendly Designation at three pediatric locations at Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care that provides an autism friendly environment in the urgent care setting, enhancing wider access to all for their urgent healthcare needs.
