Dr. Michael Richardson is a family medicine physician in the Greater Boston area, dedicated to preventative health and empowering individuals to take control of their wellness. His specialties include primary care, men's health, LGBTQIA+ care, minority health, fitness and advocating for underrepresented populations.
Dr. Richardson is the President of the Massachusetts Academy of Family Physicians and Area Medical Director at Carbon Health, where he leads initiatives to improve healthcare access and outcomes. He is also a respected medical writer, with contributions to NBC, Teen Vogue, Blavity, and The New York Post.
Honored with several awards, including Boston Magazine’s Top Doctors and recognition by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce as a Ten Outstanding Young Leader, Dr. Richardson was named one of the National Minority Quality Forum’s 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health in 2021.
