Regional Telemedicine Officer
PM Pediatrics
Dr. Sabah Fatima Iqbal is the Regional Telemedicine Officer of PM Pediatrics in Rockville and Germantown, where she oversees all medical operations for the practices. Prior to joining PM Pediatrics, Dr. Iqbal was an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC for eight years. During her time at Children’s National, she served as the principal clinician at the IMPACT DC Asthma Clinic for inner city children. She also served on the steering committee of the women’s leadership group, WATCH, where she developed work-life balance and negotiating workshops that have been presented at national conferences. Dr. Iqbal is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children’s National Medical Center where she was awarded a K-12 grant from the National Institutes of Health for research in asthma. Dr. Iqbal completed her Pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell, and received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University. Her interests include asthma, child safety at home, and injury prevention.
