Alana Arnold, MD, MBA

Dr. Alana J. Arnold, a board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physician, is the network director for 11 emergency departments and the founder and CEO of PEMPal. She is dedicated to equipping urgent care clinicians with evidence-based tools, including PEMPal's web app, clinical simulations, and educational videos, to improve pediatric outcomes and reduce unnecessary transfers.

Dr. Arnold attended Princeton University, Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Passionate about children’s health, she empowers non-pediatric-trained clinicians to deliver effective care, even without on-site specialists. Her work impacts the nearly 30 million children visiting ERs and urgent cares annually, reducing healthcare costs and medical errors while improving patient outcomes.
