Benjamin Silverberg, MD, MSc, FAAFP, FCUCM, is part of the faculty at Stanford University. Having given numerous professional presentations and written multiple scientific publications (on topics ranging from infectious diseases to bedside procedures), he provides compassionate, enthusiastic primary care services to the Stanford student body at the on-campus health clinic. Dr Silverberg was recently named co-editor of the Journal of American College Health. He returns to California by way of Appalachia, where he also worked in student health, urgent care, and travel medicine, and served as the inaugural medical director of the Physician Assistant studies program at West Virginia University. When not working clinically or teaching, Dr Silverberg still has his hands full as father to twin toddlers. He is accompanied on his life's journey by his cats and Berkeley-alumnus husband.
