Rajesh N. Geria, MD

Rajesh Geria is a board-certified emergency physician at CityMD-Summit Health currently residing in East Brunswick, NJ. He has over 12 years of full-time UC experience across corporate and private urgent care settings. CityMD Urgent Care has over 170 offices across NY/NJ and is integrated with Summit Health primary and multi-specialty care giving patients incredible access to comprehensive care when they need it most. Dr. Geria holds clinical appointments at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Palisades Medical Center in NJ where he works per diem in the Emergency Department.



He is a fellowship-trained expert in point-of-care ultrasound and served as core educational faculty and Ultrasound fellowship director at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in NJ for 10 years. During that time he was invited to speak on point-of-care ultrasound topics at several national conferences a year including AIUM, ACEP, and SAEM in addition to directing hundreds of ultrasound courses. In 2014, he served as president of the ACEP Emergency Ultrasound section where he co-authored a major resolution defining point-of-care ultrasound in the clinical setting. He has recently started to use ultrasound in urgent care practice and believes it has tremendous potential to impact patient care. Dr. Geria is also an independent contractor for an integrative health clinic where he performs ultrasound-guided PRP / steroid injections for common sports medicine ailments.
