Lindsey E. Fish, MD

Lindsey E. Fish, MD, is the Medical Director for the Federico F. Peña Southwest Urgent Care Clinic, part of the Denver Health and Hospital system. In addition, she is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a BA in Biology in 2001 and earned her Medical Doctorate from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine in 2007. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Colorado in 2010. She initially practiced primary care internal medicine before transitioning to full-time urgent care medicine in 2013. She became a Medical Director in 2015 with the opening of the Peña Urgent Care Clinic, the first community based urgent care clinic operated by Denver Health. Clinically, her career focus is on urgent/acute care for the underserved patient, specifically within a community health clinic. Academically, her career focus is on student and resident education in providing care in the urgent care setting. Additionally, she speaks Spanish fluently and works to educate medical students on clinical medical Spanish.

She and her husband enjoy travel, hiking, skiing and attending their childrens' sports and music activities.
