Laura Elliott is a Data Scientist at Denver Health, supporting population health efforts as a part of the Ambulatory Care Services Data and Research Team. Laura transitioned from geoscience to health care late in her career during the pandemic in 2020. She worked at the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment as a COVID-19 Contact Tracer before moving to the Immunization Provider Relationship and Accountability Center, performing outreach, vetting, and training to new and prospective vaccine providers during the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. In 2021, Laura completed an intensive Data Science bootcamp and was hired by Denver Health later that year.
